Hungary Launches New 10 Year Residence Visa Residency

Starting with a minimum investment of €250,000, Hungary has launched real-estate fund Golden Visa, offering investors a new route to a European residence permit in the heart of Europe.

This is a unique route offering a 10-year residence permit without the requirement to be physically present in Hungary.  Furthermore, investors will only have to make their qualifying investment once they have received their residency approval.

Investors and their families will also benefit from one of the fastest processing times in the industry, obtaining their ID cards within a short period of 6-8 weeks.

Below are the investment options that qualify for the Investor Visa and from which the applicant can choose from:

  • A minimum investment of €250,000 in real estate funds

  • A minimum investment of €500,000 in the purchase of a real estate property

  • A donation of €1,000,000 to an institute of higher learning

“Since 2014, we at Business Magnet has partnered with accredited brokers for earlier versions of Hungary’s investment-based residency programs. Proud of our 100% success rate in residence permit applications and a proven record of investors reclaiming their investments in government bonds under the previous Permanent Residency program. We remain committed to assisting our clients through Hungary latest program and the other European programs, facilitating their journey towards a brighter future,” said Rula Freij, Chief Executive Officer of Business Magnet.

During this uncertainty and political unrest globally, Hungary’s Golden Visa once again appears as a valuable resource, providing investors with a powerful contingency plan. It is also worth noting that this particular program is accessible to individuals of all nationalities.
