Latvia Issued 107 Golden Visas in 2025

Between January and June 2025, Latvia issued 107 residence permits to investors and their families — nearly matching the total for all of 2024, when 149 permits were granted.

The top five countries of origin for approved applicants were Türkiye, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, India, and China.

Latvia’s Golden Visa program offers foreigners a five-year residence permit starting from an investment of €50,000.

Applicants can qualify by purchasing real estate, investing in a local business, or making a deposit in a Latvian bank.

Business investments of €50,000 remain the most popular option. In 2025, this route accounted for half of all approvals, compared with 69% in 2024.
